One problem with Houston after being in the center for 5 years is that if I wanted to go to HEB, the nearest grocery store, it was at least a 30 minute walk, a 15 minute transit ride, or I had to drive myself. Waited and expected to find parking. Creating a "hub" that allows access to everything you need in a relative location is a great idea.
